Crystals are another way to supercharge your spiritual healing. Think of it as a battery in your Reiki therapy. It is a helpful tool to charge you so you can begin healing your client or yourself.

LIFE FORCE?
YES.. Reiki is a spiritual healing. Someone who administers Reiki will put their hands on you and heal your life force. This is considered a alternative pseudo-medicine. It was developed in 1922 by a Buddhist Mikao Usui. This life force has been called your "QI". When you learn Reiki you will come to understand that the QI can be manipulated. Now this is a very controversial subject because you cannot see a life force. Some physicians still believe the Reiki practice will promote a generally well being.
Rei and Ki?
Reiki is of Japanese origins. Rei stands for "universal life," and Ki stands for "energy." Reiki is not a religion it is simply another form of healing using spiritual energy. When somebody's energy is blocked it is believed this can cause poor health. So.. when your energy or life force is positive so is your health. Reiki therapy is used for physical, emotional, and mental health.

No we are not doing the cha cha cha. All joking aside Reiki therapy is all about that Chakra. For those of you in yoga you may know what this is. IF not let me explain. Chakras are energy centers on the body. There are seven chakras on the body. These points will guide your reiki healer to the spots of energy. There is the crown chakra, the third eye, the throat, the heart, the solar plexus, the sacral, and the root chakra.
